The 6-0 to Oldham in the league cup semi was a stinker.

It felt like I'd been disembowelled after that one

Lato I think I was unfortunately at that one, was it a Clive Allen/ Nico Claesen Spurs frontline?

7 - 1 away to Man U, Wanchope put us 1 nil up, then we capitulated, Forrest got injured, begged to Redknapp to take him off, totally ignored.
On a brighter note Joe Cole came on at end, I think his league debut and took the piss

Reading 6-0 will always stick in my mind.

My brother's then soon to be in-laws live there and tend not to let me forget.

Some true shockers that I didn't want to be reminded of out there.

I recall a league cup replay at Spurs around 1987/88 in which we got stuffed 5-0 and 42 year old Billy Bonds was our best player that night.

Still think losing to Oxford 4-0 will take some beating tho.

1-0 Tranmere in 1999 3rd Round Fa Cup. Cole, DiCanio, Ferdinand,Lampard all playing and we were shocking. For some reason it was played in early December so our season was over even earlier than usual. Thoroughly miserable day, compounded by the fact that the away fans had a perfect view of their wonder goal after which we did 70 mins of fuck all to equalize. Left me questioning my sanity

The 0-4 was the first time I ever saw us lose. My grandad was telling me we'd get back into it all the way up to the final goal going in. I don't think he really meant it. That was his last ever game after being a ST holder through the 50s and 60s.

Has to be the 2-8 home defeat to Blackburn. That was Sunday league stuff.
Mind you, we did go up to Blackburn, a few days later and beat them 3-1. That made us feel a bit happier.

Christian dailly got Millwall's player of the year after the 4-1 game, as he was so fucking bad in it and scored an own goal.

Not sure I went back to my seat for the 2nd half and nothing like getting kept in for over an hour after shit like that.

Re: Worst results in our history
late 80's / early 90's we couldnt seem to beat QPR... start of one season 0-3 at upton park, repeated a few years later with a 0-4..
knocked all the optimism out of the crowd
.

Re: Worst results in our history
7-1 drubbing from Blackburn was quite depressing, and the Gary Breen masterclass at Man U 6-0 didn't help. As others have said, so many embarrassing defeats to be able to list them.

Being in the Forest End at Villa Park for the 4 nil semi-final loss was pretty grim, as was losing to Barnsley in the 3rd round of the Cup at Oakwell, shit weather and shit performance, rounded off by my brother 'forcing' me to watch some strippers at a shitty pub in Barnsley after the match!

Losing 4-0 to CHARLTON ATHLETIC was pretty grim too

Remember leaving that thinking we were definitely relegated, how we survived and Charlton went down is anyone’s guess.

Luton putting us to the sword was painful. I also recall Oldham turning us over quite comfortable once.Forget the score. But it wasn't pretty viewing.

I’ve seen some shockers a 6-0 away to QPR of all teams ,5-1 lpswich ,too many to list but that Wimbledon last year ,l was in Dusseldorf, the only place we could get the game on was some Irish pub ,3 tellys right in the gangway ,l actually predicted 3-0 to us and got talking to some locals about who we would want in the next round ,as the game went on it was fucking embarrassing with some german Sherlock explaining that the money West Ham players are on they should be winning, fucked my weekend right up.
